Art holds a very special place in my heart since early childhood. I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember. Ten years ago I was introduced to rug hooking and I love to create a painting with wool. I have owned and operated the Painted Mermaid Gallery in South Paris Maine since 2009, offering classes, rug hooking patterns and supplies. As I have recently relocated to California, I am now designing patterns available on Etsy. Custom artwork for your patterns welcomed!
Patterns
All my rug hooking patterns are hand-drawn on fine or primitive linen with a 4" selvage surrounding the design for ease of frame use. Edges are serged to prevent fraying. A color photo is enclosed for your reference.
Wool & Kits
I love to dye wool and I can put together a kit for you if requested. Price of kits will vary depending on pattern.
